About Aquaponics
Aquaponics is the practice of combining plant and animal life with water to result in a mutually beneficial ecosystem. The word stems from both aquaculture (raising marine life) and hydroponics (the method of growing plants without soil).
The aquaponic ecosystem is extremely efficient, thanks to the constant supply of nutrients being fed to the plants via fish. It’s a symbiotic environment that requires next to no maintenance - all you have to do is feed the fish and wait!
